A follow up to the pop-up banners we designed the year before for The Great Unbaked to use at the Ashland Chocolate Festival, this year they wanted a large format banner to display behind their table. Since people would be browsing many booths, we needed a design that would be eye-grabbing and quickly informative.
To accomplish this, we leveraged the bright brand colors already established in the pop-up banners and super-imposed a larger-than-life, dripping, chocolate truffle bar in the center of the tradeshow display. This required a special trip out to the factory to get the right photograph for the banner with enough resolution to look delectable on this 8’x6′ banner.
The client wanted a chalkboard look that would reflect the brand style and handmade quality. We highlighted a few key phrases with unique text and larger font size to make sure people quickly know what they are looking at. The banner was a big hit and effective communication piece that will be used for years to come.
